What do sessions look like?

Sessions are anywhere from 50 minutes to an hour. I let my client lead the session by informing me what are more pressing issues they’d like to talk about first. Otherwise, we talk together about how anxiety has shown up for them in the past week, how they responded, and I provide insight or tools for them to use to help them improve.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance at this time. However, I do provide my clients with something called a Superbill which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

What are your fees?

For individual therapy I charge $150 per hour. Supervision Consultation is $75 per hour.

How long will I be in therapy?

Length of time in therapy can depend person to person. This is because some would like to work on more present day difficulties which may take less time in therapy, and others would like to work on deeper past issues that take time to untangle. Regardless, if I feel like you’re improving I will let you know if you’re ready to start tapering off sessions or even take a break from therapy. I also always let my clients know that they can tell me if they are needing a break from therapy and sometimes they resume therapy as new things come up and they are needing to work through it together.


Do I have to attend weekly?

At the beginning it is advised to attend sessions on a weekly basis. Over time, if you feel like you’re doing better, we can change it to bi-weekly or monthly check ins. If finances are an issue, we can always start with bi-weekly and go at a pace that works right for you.
